Denise is a recent MSW graduate from the Catholic University of America and is now a member of the Eastern Door Counseling Center’s collegium program. Denise’s career started years ago with work in the textile industry, creating fabric designs and products for the home. However, almost 30 years ago, personal challenges prompted a change in direction, inspiring her to focus on ministering to families within the church setting as well as advocacy work for people with special needs. Denise has a heart for helping all people: adults, families, couples, teens, and children. She brings a life course and strength-based perspective to help people thrive despite life’s challenges. Denise has completed foundation level preparation in Dialectical Behavior Therapy Skills Training.
